These pages represent an ecosystem of wiki pages for quality control including categories for tagging forward-facing pages that have problems, templates for inject message and those categories more efficiently, and finally template categories for organizing the aforementioned category-injecting templates themselves.

Categories for forward-facing pages

These are categories for forward-facing pages so they can be tagged when they have problems. These are often transcluded by the templates below through bots.

Species

• Category:Species pages needing maintenance—parent category
  • Category:Species pages needed redirect—category for pages that need help with their redirects
  • Category:Species pages needing name review—category for other scientific name conflicts

Maintenance-category-injecting templates

These are templates that serve as a vehicle to transclude the above categories with messaging and other bells and whistles. When pages are repaired they should be removed which will also remove the category they transcluded.
