The Southeast United States Savannas & Forests subrealm contains five bioregions: the Ozarks Mixed Forests (NA22), Southeast Savannas & Riparian Forests (NA25), Bermuda (NA26), Western Gulf Coastal Grasslands (NA27), and the Southern Mixed Forests & Blackland Prairies (NA28).
Political geography
The Southeast United States Savannas & Forests subrealm is located almost entirely within the United States, with only a single ecoregion extending into the state of Tamaulipas in Mexico.
