This is a list of all Orthoptera species that have been recorded in the U.S. state of Montana.

The Montana Field Guide information hub by the state government currently lists 138 species belonging to eight families in this order.

The following tags have been used to highlight some categories of occurrence:

(E) Endemic - a species endemic to Montana.

(I) Introduced - an exotic species that has established a breeding population.

(V) Vagrant - only known from rare individuals outside of their typical range and not established.

(PX) Possibly Extinct - a species that was last sighted decades ago and is likely extinct.

(X) Extinct - a species that has died out entirely.
